"Andor": the trailer for the next hit season of "Star Wars" unveiled

After nearly three years of waiting, season 2 of Andor is just around the corner with an explosive first trailer unveiled on YouTube this Monday, February 24. Considered one of the best series in the Star Wars universe by some fans, the season will also be divided into 12 episodes to explore in depth the conflict between the Empire and the Rebellion.
Set to the very pop music of Steve Earle, The Revolution Starts Now , the trailer is much less dark than that of season 1 , but promises a level of action worthy of the saga.
Scenes of bombings, sabotage, combat... Season 2 of Andor will offer its fans the only live-action Star Wars story of the year, before a return to the cinema next year with The Mandalorian and Grogu .
The second season of Andor will focus on the four years preceding the events of Rogue One . Like the first season, this one will consist of 12 episodes and promises to immerse viewers in the intensification of the conflict between the Empire and the Rebellion. Every three episodes, several time ellipses will take place.

The lineup includes Ben Mendelsohn, who played the sinister Director Orson Krennic in Rogue One , while Forest Whitaker will reprise his role as Saw Gerrera, radical leader of the Rebel Alliance. Several well-known faces will be in the game: Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael and Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma.
As the release of the Andor novella approaches, series creator Tony Gilroy shared his excitement about working on the series in an interview published on the official Star Wars website. "One of the great joys of filming Andor is the breadth of the story and the number of characters we get to meet from ordinary people, to Imperial overlords, to passionate revolutionaries," he explained.
"Cassian's journey is the soul and backbone of our story, but it's the chorus that makes the show. I can't wait for the audience to see where we go in Season 2," concluded the creator of this long-awaited new season.
